The Biathlon World Cup region of PillerseeTal is a true paradise for cross-country skiers. With the annual Biathlon World Cup in Hochfilzen and the Continental Cup for cross-country skiing, the region has built up a fantastic network of trails and service facilities for cross-country skiers. Two cross-country ski schools ensure the right entry or ascent!

Our XC-Tipps for you:

Lauchseeloipe: 4.5 km, 50 m altitude difference This very scenic cross-country ski run leads through a charming forest and meadow area, past the Schweinesten farm and over a small climb to the Lauchsee. You can enjoy a wonderful view of countless snow-sparkling mountain peaks along the entire trail
Dandler trail: 10.4 km, 150 m elevation gain. Access to the trail at Gasthof Dandler. The trail leads across open fields and along the edge of the forest to the Vormau farm. From here, the trail always climbs slightly to the Feistenau turning point. From there you can access the L8
Dominik-Landertinger trail from Hochfilzen.
Weissach trail: 9.5 km, 125 m altitude difference From the Tragstätt car park over slightly hilly terrain to the Lackenhof, where a more difficult section of the trail begins. Then we continue west to the Granbachhof turning point.
